The Waikiki Holiday Parade is a family-friendly Event that features local Hawaiian bands, marching bands from the mainland, military units, local officials, and dignitaries. The Parade makes its way down the beautiful, torch-lit Kalakaua Avenue – along Waikiki Beach – near our Waikiki Hotel once a year.
Marchers and participants in the Waikiki Holiday Parade show a force of solidarity that you’ll always find on our island, but this sense of community takes special form during the wonderful Holiday Parade.
The Waikiki Holiday Parade will be held on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day this year – as it always is - and will once again attract thousands of spectators, Hawaii residents and tourists akike! The bands participating in the 2014 Waikiki Holiday Parade include the Grain Valley Marching Eagles, the Carter High School Band, and marching bands from Aiea High School, Henry J. Kaiser High School, James B. Castle High School, Kalani High School, President William McKinley High School, and Punahoa Academy.

- The Waikiki Holiday Parade begins with a warm-up and step-off from Fort DeRussy Park and ends at Queen Kapiolani Park.
